| Description: | This intense 1 day class teaches the cockpit operations and procedure fundamentals of the Avidyne Avionics system that is installed in the Symphony 160 and Cirrus aircraft. The all day lecture/lab format is designed to provide thorough Scenario based classroom training so the Pilot in Training (PT) is ready to operate the aircraft with confidence and system knowledge. Completing this program allows a PT to get a FITS Accepted Certificate as well as a Part 141 Graduation Certificate. The student may then re-enroll into A001A and complete flight training by taking 3 Flight Scenarios and then complete the G1000 Graduation ride with the chief pilot. This program, in conjunction with completing flight scenarios, may satisfy TAA/FITS Training requirements required by Avemco and other aviation insurance underwriters. |
