Skyline Aeronautics is proud to offer our FAA Part 141 and FITS Accepted training program for transition pilots.  As one of the only programs of its kind in the country, this program has received the highest of reviews from the nearly 150 plus people that have taken and graduated from the program.  We offer the program in our (5) G1000 equipped aircraft (or yours) and we offer the program at our state of the art Training Facility at Spirit of St .Louis Airport (KSUS)! 

We offer Cessna FITS Accepted Instruction (CFAI), Diamond Aircraft Factory Authorized Training (DAFAT), and we are quickly moving toward certification in Mooney and Beech aircraft.  We have been approved by Phoenix Aviation Underwriters and are now Avemco Insurance Safety Reward Program recognized.  Our A001G Course is FAA FITS accepted and therefore eligible for premium credits from Avemco through their Safety Rewards program.  If you need proof of training to fly your aircraft, this is the right program for you! 

Course A003G- This is a FAA Part 141 and FITS Accepted  Ground School, Lab program, and Flight Training that gives you all of the fundamentals of understanding, and operating the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit, including Primary and Multi-Function Display Units, audio panel, autopilot, and cockpit management procedures in the A003G Ground course described above, plus 3 FITS flight scenarios and a final certification graduation ride with the company check pilot. The ground school portion is 10 hours long and the flight portion consists of 4.5 hours plus a 1.6 hour graduation ride and 3.4 hours of flight pre and post briefing time.  The whole program can be completed in 2 days.  The following table estimates the course cost depending upon the aircraft you choose to fly.
